This album is 100% human-made: real fingers on real keys, real insomnia, real heartbreak, zero AI. In a few years kids won’t even know a world where every drop wasn’t spat out by a server farm. Windows XP startup bliss chime in 2001, Pokemon, MSN messenger nudges, 512 MB RAM fighting for its life, and me staying up rendering wobbly basslines while the whole house slept. Same kid, new bass music.
2001 Xbox glow: Halo 1 endless nights, Master Chief headshots, plasma grenades popping like the first filthy drops I dreamed up, controller sticky from Monster cans, pausing mid-raid to scribble bass ideas on notebook scraps. Same Covenant-killing gremlin, just swapped the Warthog for wobbles that nuke speakers.
2006: First Paid Gig. Not a DJ gig! A first job! Cookie Store Warrior at 16. smelling like chocolate chip all day, sneaking double-chocolate cookies on break, and using every paycheck to buy VSTs, a faster computer, and louder headphones like a CYKO. Those cookie crumbs funded the very first bass and wobbles – now they fund full-blown speaker terrorism. Let not forget we are human! 90s babies FTW!
